AYIA Conference 2011 - March 4th - 6th

The 2011 annual conference of the AYIA will take place in University College Dublin, March 4th - 6th.

The website has now been updated with the new constitution voted in at the AGM in Cork . Contact details for the multi-annual members of the National committee have also been posted.

The deadline for abstracts for this year's annual conference has been extended until 25th January 2010. Download the updated CFP here.

The AGM of the AYIA will be held following the annual conference in Cork and some major new changes to the organisation will be debated and discussed at the meeting.

The proposed changes include the creation of elected three year posts in the association that would provide some continuity and possibilities for the association's activities. Other changes include a broadening of the membership criteria of the association and a re-structuring of the National Committee.

The proposed new constitution can be viewed online or downloaded and the existing constitution can be accessed here.

All members are encouraged to review the proposed changes and to attend and vote at the A.G.M. in Cork.

The website has been informally launched as currently under construction. It is hoped that it can form a permanent base around which the activities of the AYIA can revolve in the future.
